But please note that German Cockroaches can be very difficult to eradicate if you allow them to breed. You must act quickly when you spot them. If we can get to them before they are an infestation they can be eradicated.

If you let them multiply – it is classed as infestation and they require a completely different approach which takes several months to completely break the breeding cycle.

German Cockroach Control

The old adage of if you see one German cockroach, there will be dozens that you cannot see as they sit under skirting boards and behind cupboards, completely out of sight until night time.

German cockroaches pose significant threats to humans both hygienically and economically. Hygienically, they spread bacteria, pathogens, and allergens through their droppings, saliva, and shed skin, leading to health issues such as asthma and allergies.

German cockroaches are health hazard that needs to be dealt with effectively!

They favour warm, humid environments like kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms.
They are a smaller light brown insect and they thrive in tight spaces.

Cockroaches

Although American roaches are primarily garden insects, they will come inside looking for food and water. They mainly gain entry under doorways or weep holes and then they are usually found in kitchen or bathroom. Then, they make themselves at home in or under appliances, drains and cabinets. They they will feed on crumbs, spilled food, dead insects and plant matter including wood and paper. Although they are big and will give you a fright, they are pretty easy to control with the right methods.

The Australian cockroach is often confused with the American cockroach but it is slightly smaller. They are attracted to damp and moist climates like shaded areas in your garden or inside your home where they have access to water. These are the ones you will find in your sink, your dishwasher and hiding under your coffee machine. They can spread bacteria (such as salmonella and e.coli) and can cause allergies and asthma.

Acting quickly when you spot them will have them eradicated quickly.

German cockroach infestations can be a reputation disaster for businesses in the food service industry. Prompt identification and treatment are essential to prevent these pests from establishing large colonies and spreading further.
